The Japanese consultancy firm, QUNIE CORPORATION (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shigeki Yamaguchi, hereinafter \u201cQUNIE\u201d) has signed a Solutions Partner Agreement with Centric Software Inc.\uff08Head Office: Campbell, CA; President and CEO\uff1aChris Groves, hereinafter \u201cCentric Software\u201d \uff09, commencing implementation and establishment support for several Centric PLM products.
With QUNIE\u2019s wide range of knowledge from BPR to system construction and operation, combined with Centric Software\u2019s PLM solutions, QUNIE is aiming to optimize the product development model and realize a sustainable corporate management capable to withstand a volatile market. This approach aims to transcend conventional system implementation, delivering measurable results across operational and organizational transformation as well as product development.
Through this strategic partnership, the two firms will collaborate to optimize product development operating models and enable agile, flexible management practices that can swiftly adapt to fast-evolving markets.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Background<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Due to the diversification in consumer demands, resulting in the increase in SKU and private-label products, consumer product manufacturers are pressured to launch products in a much shorter span of time. In addition, with the accelerating labor shortage in the consumer products industry, efficiently developing original products and minimizing the time to market is gaining importance in corporate growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to realize efficient product development, it is necessary to revisit the strategy and process of product planning and development. When accelerating reformation, it is effective to implement DX infrastructure that helps streamline various processes, such as project management in product development, centralized management of product information, and communication with stakeholders. However, in the consumer product industry, system utilization is relatively low and many corporations are yet to fundamentally overcome the situation.
To address these challenges, QUNIE and Centric Software have entered into a solution partnership agreement and will jointly promote transformation through the implementation of Centric PLM and related solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
