(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tomohiro Nakagawa, hereinafter \u201cRio Holdings\u201d) announced that it has upgraded the accounting and procurement systems of more than 100 group companies, including asset management companies, to a new system centered on SAP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Cloud ERP (public cloud) and SAP<sup>\u00ae <\/sup>Business Technology Platform provided by SAP Japan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hirofumi Suzuki, hereinafter \u201cSAP Japan\u201d), and the new system has been fully operational since August 2025.<br>From the formulation of the initial concept through business process reform, system implementation, and stabilization, the project was supported by the Japanese consultancy firm within the NTT DATA group, Fortience Consulting Inc. (formerly known as QUNIE CORPORATION; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shigeki Yamaguchi, hereinafter Fortience).<br>Through this system upgrade, Rio Holdings has enabled the automatic posting of consolidated journal entries, reducing manual journal entry work by more than 90 percent. In addition, faster data collection and analysis have made it possible to make timely and higher-quality management decisions. The company has also achieved significant improvements in operational efficiency across the entire group, as well as enhanced governance, through comprehensive business process reform.<br>Furthermore, the new system ensures efficiency in ongoing operations and future system version upgrades, enabling Rio Holdings to establish a foundation for autonomous system operation.<br>In recognition of the achievements of this project, Fortience was selected for the \u201cSAP Project Excellence\u201d award as part of the \u201cSAP Appreciation for Partner Excellence
